Update on Daniel Tuesday 9-9-08

I went to see my brother Daniel again today with my mom. He is back in ICU as of Monday evening. His hallucinations were still not under control. They were afraid that he would hurt himself if not watched closer. They also are doing repeat X-rays on his hip and his stomach, because he does try to get out of bed unassisted. His stomach is still giving him pains, they think he has an air pocket in his bowels causing his problems. Hip and pelvis look ok for now. His hip therapy was suspended while he was hallucinating. On top of all that his cell phone has been misplaced (lost-stolen)in the hospital. Now he only has contact with the people that he remembers their numbers. So there is another thing I have to take care of and get service back to him soon.

P.S. A BIG BIG THANK YOU to all who called in person and talked to me. That was really nice to know that people care to call and talk in person. That really makes me feel good, I have tried to call back all the calls I missed on my cell phone. Keeping my sister informed and my mother informed and driving her there and back has been really time consuming. I/ we also try to keep the family life as normal on a timetable as possible.
