New Years Eve & Day ....Party

We got together with our kids and grandkids to spend the evening. I had made dinner, everyone's favorite, meatballs, potatoes, string beans and of course rosul (chicken soup). Suzia, Koy, Ela, Julia & Stevie had returned from visiting Koy's mom , who lives now in Upper Peninsula, Michigan,for a few days. It was around 6pm when they got home. They unpacked and unhitched the trailer and came over to be with us for the evening and night. Stef came over with Maddie, Stevie & Lily also. This was Karens' holiday to work. She worked 7Pm to 7Am, both New Years Eve and New Years Day.

By around 9:30 10Pm some of the kids got tired and looked like they were going to take a nap, BUT no,.. only Lily did from 9:45 pm till 11:45 Pm. Then she was up also for the celebration with us all.

It was snowing all evening and quite windy by midnight. We did NOT go outside this year as we had planned. Seemed it would take over an hour to get everybody dressed to go on our parade rout with the pots and pans. But we did have a bang up good time in the house. We all wore our crowns/hats and the (noise makers) were to be heard even outside. At midnight of course we had our drink of choice, and the family (missing Karen) was all together once more. By around 2AM the party started to wind down, as one by one people were falling asleep here, there and everywhere. Suzia & family decided they would go home to sleep, so they left around 2Am.

New Years Day morning Lily and little Stevie were up by 7:30 am., we had breakfast, played a while then around 10:30Am we woke up Maddie, Daddy(Stef) and Dziadzia to go and play in the snow with us.
We made snow angels, and a snow-WOMAN. also. We spent a beautiful day together. HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL.
