More Lilacia Park on Sunday

We went to the Lilac Park in Lombard on Sunday. This year we were lucky to get to see the Lilacs in full bloom, before the usual storm that knocks them down by the middle of May. I had taken Maddie, Stevie & Lily and Babcia Hela to see the sights . People were having picnics in the park.

Babcia Hela had a wonderful time smelling all the different scents that Lilacs have.

Seeing all the different colors of Lilacs was fun and interesting to read about on the plaques.

The Park also has dozens and dozens of different colors of Tulips. There also was a band playing in the park for enjoyment. Most of the time we spent there, Miss Lily was sleeping.
After the Park we "went all out" to eat at White Castle. Our favorite spot.
