CHEWY is in our family January 11, 1995

This is the day Stef went to get this kitty cat that he named Chewbacca. Only to find out he was a she. (He loved the Star Wars figures). So she still was named Chewy.

Chewy is getting old for a cat and it does show around the house. If it keeps getting worse I think Chewy will be saying good bye to us all soon.
He drove Stefan's big Oldsmobile car that was as huge as a boat, down to Chicago and picked up the kitty to take home.

My High School mini reunion Class of 1967

We met at Maggiano's for a lunch. There were 2o+ ladies.(?) What a walk down memory lane with them all. We talked about this and that and where is so and so etc.
Suzia took a lot of pictures, which I will try to post some of them here when I get her memory card with them.

A fun day swimming Jan 8, 2011

We (Stefan and myself) went to Stef and Karens house. We met up so we could all go swimming. Wow that pool water was like bath water, warrrmmmmmm. Kids jumped right in. Dziadzia had such a great time with 4 of his grandkids in the pool. Dunking and catching the balls was so much fun when the water is warm.
After we all got water logged we went to Stef's house and had dinner.
Some of the pictures were fuzzy, because the camera did not get used to pool weather in side when I took these.

What a nice way to spend the day with family.

CORRECTION about Julia.. January 5, 2011

I went with Julia and had her ears re-pierced,.... how could I forget that.

Okay now I know that I am getting old. When Suzia reminded me THEN I did remember doing that with Julia.

OKAY Julia does have pierced ears again.

8 Years ago Ela and Julia....January 4, 2003

Ela and Julia got their ears pierced today. Ela has kept hers "open" where as Julia just did not .

I was at the hospital with Stefan, while he was recuperating from his bypass surgery. Can you believe that it is already 8 years since he had that bypass?

HAPPY NEW YEARS to all 2011

We were in Florida for a week with 2 of our grand-daughters, Ela and Julia.

We had a wonderful time too bad that the weather was not really too warm. We stayed with my sister Barbara and her husband Teddy. We visited our niece Janette and Paul and Payton in Orlando.
Got to see Disney World again with Ela and Julia. They were with us in 2003 when we were there also. Although I don't think they remembered a lot from that visit. We visited in 2003 with Suzia and her 3 children, after Stefans 5-way bypass that he had had in January of that year.

Hope that everybody is staying healthy for the year.

May this be the BEST year for you yet. Stay healthy happy and may it be very prosperous for you. May you accomplish all that you WANT to do.

Stefan and his 5-bypass January 3, 2011

It is 8 years since Stefan had his 5-way heart bypass at Alexian Brothers Hospital.
We are all so grateful that he is doing well. Checkups show nothing is going bad on him. Meaning that the bypass surgery worked great. He left the hospital on January 7th.

Birthday Wishes to Basia

A very Happy Birthday to our neighbor Basia on her birthday. Sorry that you had to go to work on this day. Hoping to get to celebrate it when we get a chance this week.

Thanks again for keeping an eye on our house and feeding our cat Chewy while we were gone to Florida.
