Julia loves to play with all kinds of bugs, today it was caterpillars she found at the playground.

Look , they feel like someone is tickling me. We made it to the TOP, Babcia.

Thursday it was hot and muggy again, so the pool went up at Babcia's house. Besides being in the pool to cool off, the grandkids washed my van. (Okay I asked them to do it to cool themselves off).. We also went to the Library to register for the summer book reading clubs. They spent the night and on Friday Koy picked up the grandkids. He dropped off Maddie at her grandma's house. Pool was up at Karen's on Friday.

Saturday I spend the day alone. Stefan went golfing in the morning and then in the afternoon he went motorcycling with his friends for the day. He returned around 8pm....Saturday evening around 5:30pm I went to see/hear Suzia's concert. She was performing in the Church Choir and they performed at Concordia College in River Forest. When the show ended and then in 5 minutes it started to pour buckets. Cooled of the evening nicely.

On Sunday we went to a TRIPLE birthday party at Diane & Bruno's house. The twins Alex and Lauren were having their 5th and Payton from Florida was celebrating her 3rd birthday.

The week started out quietly on Monday for a day only. I dropped off Irena's birthday gift at her house.

But on Tuesday I watched Maddie, Stevie & Lily for the day. During the day we visited the splashpad, then in the evening I went to the Leukemia Fundraiser which was being held at The Enchanted Castle again this year, with the grandkids. My friend and her family came along also. (Kids love that place). We had a good time and also listened to the Super hero of the evening. A little girl about 7 years old that was fighting Leukemia and is winning, she is in remission.

By Wednesday it was getting HOT & HUMID. So we were at Suzia's house for the day. Karen brought along her blow-up pool and we all got WET. We tried filling those tiny balloons with water for a water fight. Besides getting wet the kids also got muddy. The pool happened to be next to the swing and they would swing and jump into the pool. Water wold splash out and make mud. We also got the use Suzia's neighbor pool and slides. Stefan came for dinner after work.

Maddie lost her FIRST TOOTH June 18, 2009

All evening on Wednesday Maddie was worried that her loose tooth would hurt whne it fell out. Well it did and she somehow swallowed "it". So now Maddie LOST her first tooth and the problem will be WHAT to leave for the Tooth Fairy?

We Saw "The Fiddler On The Roof"

Stage curtain, No pictures allowed, but I snapped a quick one and it shows, no focus.

We parked the van and took the "L". Going there we got there in no time,so we astopped for coffee at the McD next door,... coming back at 11:20PM was another story. They decided to make it an Express train after we hit Jefferson Park. It went all the way to Rosemont exit. Then we had to hike it back to Cumberland. (WHY?) because they were washing the platforms with high power pressure washers. We got home after midnight.

BUT we had a great time humming along with the actors to the songs. Of course we know all the tunes, Stefan still sings his main song...."If I Were A Rich Man..... laa dii dah diii dah diii dum..........."
If you get a chance to get tickets, then go see it. It was a nostalgic trip for us. We saw the movie yyyyyeeeeeaaaarrrrssss ago and it was nice to see the real thing finally on stage.
Topol is supposedly 73 years old now, and has been doing THIS thing for over 2,500 times on stage. His voice was still boominginly loud and strong where it counted.

Fiddler On The Roof Wed PM

Stefan and myself are going to go see the play Fiddler on The Roof downtown tonight.
I got the tickets for Stefan's birthday and our Anniversary so we could go and celebrate it by going out to see the play.
Will let you know tomorrow how we enjoyed it or not.

Jumping Puddles Tuesday evening in the rain

Tuesday evening (6-16-2009) when Maddie, Stevie & Lily were staying for the night, it was also raining. Soooooo Babcia let them play in the rain and in the puddles.
After the puddle-jumping they took a nice long very warm bath to warm-up. Then it was cuddle time with Babcia & Dziadzia. Good night.
