Practicing to become a Great Slugger 3-27-10

Baseball slugger, he wants to be able to hit a grand slam someday. My grandson Stevie K. was practicing today over 3 hours. His daddy was helping out with getting the balls that got way out in the field.

Well Stevie tried and tried, he did hit a few balls while I was watching. He even bunted a few of them also.

Making Crocodiles 3-25-10

While Maddie was still in school on Thursday, I took Stevie & Lily to do some crafts at the Library. Today they were reading a story about animals and then we would make a craft. It was "How to make a crocodile day". Lily and Stevie really enjoyed it and were so engrossed with making their crocodile that the time just past us by so quickly. It was time to go get Maddie from school.

A fun evening together....3-23-10

On Wednesday I went out to Outback Steakhouse with Irena and Diane. We spend a good part of the evening there, talking and talking and laughing also. Seems times like this are never enough time. Friends need to get together more often and laugh and talk like this. Till next time.... hope that you get to spend a few hours laughing and having fun with YOUR friends also.

CRAZY HAIR day in school/Ocean in a Bottle

It was Crazy Hair day in Stevie's class today. They all looked cute and funny. After school was done for the day we went to the park. It was craft day again and we made Ocean's in a Bottle. Trying to get all that sand in a tiny bottle is hard work. Had some fun outdoors also. Brave Lily climbing the fence, trying out the scooter. Hey if my brother and sister can do it, so can I.

Having some time together at Suzia's house is always fun time. Koy enjoys "feeding" Ela...... Copper likes to lap sit on Suzia's lap (not much room now that he is so big). Lily and Julia find something funny to do to entertain US.

Lab Work, to be done April 6, 2010

On Tuesday April 6, Stefan will have his lab work done. Meaning his blood drawn and checked out if he needs a bone biopsy. He has been lucky and has not needed a biopsy for some time now.
Will post results after he comes home, till then.......

Saturday 1st day of Spring 2010???

If this is Spring weather what will Summer be like? It is snowing and the temperature now is in the lower 30's. Okay the weather was warmer this past week. We had temps in the lower and upper 60's. Still THIS is NOT spring weather, rain I could see, SNOW NO WAY. I guess we got spoiled by the warm weather too soon.
